About Me
I am a passionate musician with a deep love for music. I graduated from the prestigious Gnessins Russian Academy of Music with a Master's degree, where I honed my skills in both classical and jazz styles. My extensive experience includes performing on stage and teaching students of all levels.
In the 1990s, I emerged as the lead vocalist for a prominent Russian jazz big band. I traveled widely throughout the ex-Soviet nations and internationally, participating in renowned jazz festivals, including Montreux, Switzerland (1994). Additionally, I was honored as a laureate at the World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood in 2010, securing wins in two categories: jazz vocals and original composition with self-accompaniment.
I began my teaching journey at Moscow Culture University in 1990 while I was still enrolled as a student. Following that, I toured with different bands before resuming my teaching career in 2002. I relocated to the United States and established residency in New Jersey in 2011. Since 2019, I have held the position of music director at several churches, which involves playing the piano and organ, singing, conducting, and rehearsing with a choir. Presently, I am serving at St. Lawrence RC Church in Lawrenceville, NJ, as an organist, cantor, and choir leader.
